What We Believe

WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21).

WE BELIEVE there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1;1,Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).

WE BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ (John 10:30); His virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14,Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35); His sinless life (Hebrews 4:15;7:26).

WE BELIEVE in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God's grace and through faith alone are we saved  (John 3:16, Romans 3:23;5:8-9, Ephesians 2:8-10).

WE BELIEVE in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12-22, Galatians 3:26-28).

                                                                                                       SANCTUARY SETTING

Our church services in the Sanctuary are designed for adults only, as there are topics which the Bible touches on that at times may be inappropriate for young children to hear. Our goal is to teach the Bible and to worship God in an atmosphere free of distractions where people can focus on the Lord. For this reason, only children age 12 and older are permitted in the sanctuary.  We do provide and encourage the children to attend our Children's Ministry Classes where they will learn about Jesus in a fun and age appropriate manner. Classes are availiable for newborn to 12 years old.

Most people are distracted by others moving around during the services or doing things that bring attention to themselves. We ask that if you do leave your seat during the service (to use the bathroom, etc.) that you do so in a manner that will lessen the distraction. Since God speaks to us through His still, small voice, we need to keep the sanctuary quiet, where we can listen for Him. Thank you for understanding, and God bless you!
